Chelsea Hotel w/ Blower At The 19th Hole In The Woodlands January 7

Nothing like a Punk show in the suburbs. Better yet at one of the smallest venues I've seen, and with some of the best lighting I've ever seen, The 19th Hole!

The show ran in a reverse or shuffled order of some sort.

Chelsea Hotel played better than ever I've seen. They were tight, fast, and put on an great stage show. It was an amazing spectacle to watch when paired with 19th Hole's high quality lighting. They immediately tore into a set of premium old school NY style Punk. The set list featured a range of originals from old songs to new ones about to be recorded on their upcoming album, along with some classic gems like "Chinese Rocks", "Avenue A", and of course a few Pagans tunes like: "Sh*t Called Love", and "Her Name Was Jane" to top off the top-notch set.

Blower opened up their set with an unexpected cover of The Sex Pistols "Holiday In The Sun", which fit better than you'd expect in their Punk meets Kiss style set. They played as tight, and fast as ever. Highlights include: "Incoming", and their anthem/single: "Hot Wheels, Cold Beer, Big Titties". They went out on a cover Kiss' "Black Diamond" which saw their drummer(who was invisible from the fog) take vocals.

Johnny Pecker & The Beaver Busting Pickle Weasels put out a great set of heavy head banging tunes that had range of styles and influences added in. They took the stage and didn't let up for a second. They had amazing stage show, and tight musicianship. Their song topics included: cougars, partying, and more.
