Street Team
So, obviously you've either read our FAQ, or stumbled upon this page, but regardless, You're probably asking "So, what does it take, and what do I get?"
What It Takes
First: You have to be able to pass out flyers or any promotional items we made need you to distribute or handle.(You will have to get flyers printed and cut out at kinkos from time to time!)
Second: You have to go through a 1 month trial Period... In other words, if you're not handing out our crap for a little while, you don't get into any shows, and you really weren't willing to work for it anyway.
Third: You have to go to shows now and then, and you must be able to take pictures(almost anything better than a cell phone qualifies, a friend with a camera also counts), Write an intelligent show review(it doesn't have to be perfect, but it needs to be relatively well-composed), and most of all, NOT GET KICKED OUT OF ANY SHOWS!!! If you get kicked out by a venue, then chances are that you're Street Team status will be terminated.
Fourth: If you're under 18 PLEASE get permission before signing up... We don't have a problem working with under 18's, we just can't take liability for anything that happens. Besides this site might as well be a Non-profit Organization.

What You Get!
Free Shows! For the majority of shows Tx Punk will get you in for free(please note that we may not be able to get you into every venue right away, it takes time to work with venues in an unfamiliar city)
Meeting and/or Interviewing Bands! Now, we can't guarantee that you will meet any specific band, but most Punk bands greet the audience members after shows, and the title of being a Reporter for a local Punk website gives you an automatic pretext for talking to a band. Plus, if you want to Interview a band you're free to do so, and we will try and help you anyway we can.
Participating in Random Tx Punk Happenings! This, may not sound very exciting, but we are very good about listening or asking for input, or participation in things we do(yes, this includes asking if you have questions for your favorite band). We have also been trying to create an online Radio Station since we've started, but unfortunately haven't been able to create.
You Get Credit For Everything You Do! If you're looking to build your name in the music/Punk world, this is a great start. We publish everything clearly stating who did what(unless it's done by Tx Punk himself, in which case there's no name listed).
Plus more! We always add new things, areas, or random stuff so, the perks can only get better!
