Obviously I've always been impressed with Room 101(see So-Cal Invasion review), but when I got this ep I had some doubts how the music would hold up on a CD versus the intense live performance I'm so accustomed to.
"So how does it hold up?"
It makes me love this music even more! It's great to listen to these songs and be able to feel all the political, critical fury through it!
The Album has a bit of range. Not every song is fast, but a good number of them are. The most common threads are: the furious vocals, a guitar so brilliantly out of key even Greg Ginn could be proud of, and the intensely tight performance of every song(it's almost like it's one being playing it all! *cough* *cough*).
Bottom Line: If you like Black, Flag, Dead Kennedys, Butthole Surfers, MDC, or if you have half a brain this is your CD! Also, please go to a Room 101 show, there's nothing like it.
