The Mugs are back with their 2nd album, and today we're taking a peak before it officially launches on March 8.
Here's a hint. It doesn't disappoint! Alright it's time to bust out the turn table for 7 inches of raw, punk edged, Rock, by Austin's own Blower.
If you've been paying attention to happenings on the site, then you already know you're in for quite a ride. Strap in, cause it's ripping down your way. The humorous, undefined genre playing, wonder trio, are back with their 7th release. The strange, the eclectic Downtown Brown. With DTB you never what you're in for, except a load of craziness.
That Read More button is our equivalent of Pandora's Box today. Do you want to open it?(Of course you do!) Houston local's, Delta Block, are up for our long awaited/procrastinated first CD review of the year with their album, "Eat It". It's worth the wait, and worth your time. Click that little link.
Humanifesto is a Canadian Melodic Hardcore band with a wacky sense humor.
To give a little bit of background: They're known for their incredibly energetic live show. Their first release was a tribute to NOFX's "F*ck The Kids 7" on which they replaced all of NOFX's lyrics with their own political words, and now on their second album every track and the album title are an anagram for the band's name. Written by Brian Reid July 13th marked the U.S. release of the Adicts latest LP, “Life Goes On” on People Like You records. And with its release, a SIMS style question mark now floats above the head of every Adicts t-shirt wearing, Hot Topic mall-punk the world over. They don’t get “Life Goes On” and they aren’t going to get it. The Adicts prove once again with this release that they are not about “conformity among nonconformists” – Monkey.
The Danigits are a little band out of DFW featuring members of REO Speedealer, The Hellions, The Soup, Pumpin' Ethyl, and Ministry.
Oh yeah! Did I mention they also won "Best New Artist of 09" from The Fort Worth weekly with just 4 months of existence? This one's got to be worth a look! Battle Flask is a new band out of the famous punk producing city known as L.A.! They've got some staggering show experience with some(if not basically all) of the biggest names in Punk, and put on a wild stage show.
Today we're looking at their newest album produced by Donnell Cameron(who has worked with Bad Religion, NOFX, and Rancid) "Smile! ...Tomorrow Will Be Worse"! Now, if you've read any of my reviews of Room 101, or at least have seen/heard of Room 101 you know it's one of the craziest live shows around.
