Houston Locals, No Resistance, new album out on Koi Records Gentlemen Prefer Bombs is under the microscope today!

Have some Texas pride and come take a look!
Picture
Gentlemen Prefer Bombs has ranging tempo and sound that can go anywhere from faster frantic songs, to slightly slower more furious and intense numbers. There's also some unexpected influences in the mix like Surf Rock and a bit of Reggae. Constants for all the songs are: scratchy yet melodic vocals, pounding drums, and a nice dark sound that really emphasizes the song meanings and experience. Despite the tone and topics of the album it still makes you want to pogo through it.

I must add through all this they still are even better Live.

Bottom Line: I you like darker yet melodic yet strong and scratchy yet Pogo worthy Punk... This may very well be your record
  Personal Favorites:
"Can't Reach Me"
"Gentlemen Prefer Bombs"
"I'm Surprised You Don't Remember The Last Time"

Superb record. Completly blew me away when i heard it the first time.
A genuine sound that borrows from the right genres.
Do you have any idea of previous bands that the members might have been in? Would be intresting to know.

Hey long time, no write! I don't know about any former bands, and I haven't seen them since The Business back in may 2010. They were supposed to play Sloppy Seconds, but didn't for some reason. Ive also heard they got thief music on a cable show, NY Ink, I don't have cable though, so I haven't seen it. In my reply E-mail I'll send you Scott's(Male Vocalist) Facebook profile.
