A couple quick points about the new section of the site that is LONG overdue from the site owner you've probably never even met or cared about.
See, we're officially a company now. We have unpaid laborers, and coffee mugs, and everything.
Random note before we get started: This is not the new page that we had mentioned was coming on the front page before... That one got abandoned for now considering this one's better. Haha.
So, like I said this should have been done forever ago, but wasn't. Why? Because I keep busy enough, and am too busy/lazy to add anything more, especially since I've had to neglect the site quite a bit already... Sorry about that.
So, this brings me to the fact; I will actually have very little to do with the Local Shows section. Maintenance of that section will be done by our first ever "staff" member(aka more unpaid labor), Hayden Garrett.
The new section will run in the following way:
Bands, you send us flyers of your shows with ALL the necessary information included: band line up, date, time, venue, city, etc. to [email protected]
We won't really actively monitor bands to update this section(with a handful of exceptions though), so please send new flyers every time.
With that being said enjoy the new page. Don't contact me if it's screwed up. It's Hayden's problem(though I will slap him through the internet if I get someone complaining that it's not being maintained). And, yeah! Power to the local bands!
Oh, yes. And give Hayden a nice warm Tx Punk welcome(so be a total prick to him).
