Today we're checking out Swedish Pop-punker trio, The Nutcutters. They're here with their third album, though only the first in the U.S.(Thanks to Koi Records), Clyde.
Picture
The Nutcutters pretty much keeps a steady formula on the album. Melodic(sometimes angsty) vocals, strong up-beat drumming, and riff filled guitar lines galore, and some off beat humor added in. At some level it can make things more predictable, but it keeps the album from feeling like it wanders around too far. They do what they do well, so why would you want to change? There's only so much to say. The Nutcutters are here to play, and play they will.

Bottom Line:
If you like poppy-er, catchy, melody driven, sometimes light hearted Pop-Punk, this is your CD
