Okay, so the newest star child of the Punk Rock world, OFF!, which features an amazing line up of veteran talent, paired with Cerebral Ballzy, who are quite possibly the best modern Hardcore Punk band around, plus Retox, a thrashy, explosive, Noise Punk band, and they're all under one roof on one night. Holy crap! That's even better than Greg Ginn's keyboard playing cat! What could make it better!?!? Oh, wait there's a fashion in the other room of the venue, which means there will be frequent socialites walking into the OFF! side with fashion fauxhawks? Oh my god! It's orgasmic! Read More! 1 Comment One of the longest standing Punk Rock bands still around, and champions of the UK '77 sound, The Vibrators made their way to a somewhat last minute Houston stop. They crammed into the one of the smallest Punk venues possible, and it's a wonder it didn't burst from the surprisingly intense show they put on! 
I arrived at the show a little early, though I was actually worried about being late since I drove around Fitzgerald’s for a good half hour searching for parking before finally settling at Stude park. Walking around the block, I was pumped up, but unsure of what to expect. I honestly had never really been much of an Agnostic Front fan based off of the few songs that I’ve heard from various compilations.  Review by Dane Posner
To say this was an odd night was a bit of an understatement, the bill had a thrash band as the headliners while there was only two true blue punk bands on the bill, the rest were metal bands ranging from thrash/death to of all things, power metal.  Review By Kris Prudhomme
The kings of Junk Rock hit Fitzgerald's for a night of drunk punk fun on the first night of their Texas tour. Time to get sloppy!!  The young blood Ramone is out keeping the anthemic music of The Ramones alive, and he's graced the state of Texas with a number of dates. Including the one that matters most to me; Houston! Come see what you missed! A massive Thanks to Chelsea Hotel for helping us out. We wouldn't have made it through the door without them!  Despite the unfortunate deportation of the Dayglo Abortions, and the change of venue, the show managed to hold its own. Not only that, "Mosh Pit" is easily the best two words to describe the night. No matter when you showed up, if there was music there was a pit... Such a beautiful sight.  It's an old fashioned Dallas skate punk backyard bash! The world renowned Punks, T.S.O.L.(True Sounds Of Liberty), have come to Houston. They've mastered Punk in many forms: Political, Horror, and even a little bit of gothic and synth Punk. Top it off with an amazing opening bill, and you're in for a night of chaos!  The truly legendary anarcho-punk band, CRASS(or close to it anyway) on their only Texas stop of the last US tour!
